Hey. My name’s Grandpa Ray. And this old dog is trying a new trick.
I learned to shoot when I was six, and since then, hunting has taken up a large portion of my life. It doesn’t matter what season it is; if I’m allowed to bag it, then I’d be out there. Made my wife a deer widow every year since we got married. And she was usually happier for it.
Thing is, now that I’m older, I don’t have the stamina to be out there as long as I used to. My back doesn’t hold up well for long hikes or for standing still for more than 10 minutes at a time. Still, some days are better than others, so I get out there whenever I can.
Every year there have been more days that I couldn’t make it than I could. So, instead of just sitting in front of the TV and settling deeper and deeper into the couch until my wife can’t pull me out, I figured I try something different. As a gun lover from a long line of gun lovers, it seemed only natural that I’d share a little of my knowledge with those who could use it.
So, if you haven’t figured it out by now, Grandpa’s Gun Case is about guns, gun cases, and all sorts of stuff that goes along with them.
I’m just glad I didn’t have to write the code for my site. That’s what grandsons fresh out of college are made for.
